An unusual circular "fort" dating to the Old Kingdom period of ancient Egypt.

According to Mumford 2006, the site was identified by an expedition of The University of Toronto. The circular structure dates to the late Old Kingdom period and it is thought to be one of three such "forts" in the South Sinai.
