History
An ancient harbor or bay, now largely in-filled, that extended eastward inland from modern Turkey's Gulf of Kuşadası. The area of the ancient feature, as reconstructed in BAtlas map 61, is partially coincident today with the western half of the Izmir Selçuk Gebekirse Lake Wildlife Development Area.
