"Sioua" is the Greek reconstruction of an ancient toponym (found in Egyptian sources: S·t-wȝḥ) that encompassed some part of the western end of the Dakhla Oasis in Egypt (certainly the site now known as Deir al-Haggar was included, and possibly also Amheida).
