Neatham is across a river from Roman Vindomi, which was next to modern Cuckoo's Corner, well off top right of the map shown above, at the intersection of two important Roman roads. Firmly located by mileages in the Antonine Itinerary, after correcting faulty identification of the next name on the Itinerary, Venta Velgarum.
