Gough's Cave is located in Cheddar Gorge. A hominin fossil commonly referred to as "Cheddar Man" was discovered in the cave in 1903.

A large cave with evidence for prehistoric human activity, including the ritual processing of human bones. The so-called Cheddar Man was discovered in the cave in 1903.
