At least a dozen places and/or rivers were formerly called Alauna, See www.romaneranames.uk/a/alauna.pdf Ardoch's claim on any of them is weak (based on proximity to Allsn Water) and is hugely outranked by the Roman fort at Cramond, near Edinburgh, on the river Almond.
