Tunnel of Eupalinos — by Jeffrey Becker — last modified Nov 20, 2023 09:22 AM: A sixth century B.C. aqueduct on Samos, the Tunnel of Eupalinos is an amphistomon, meaning it was excavated simultaneously from each terminus. The tunnel measures 1,036 m in length.
