- Henchir el Khaway is located on the southwest coast of the island of Djerba, in the northwest outskirts of modern Tunisian village of Guellala. The settlement here was founded at least as early as the fifth century BCE. Its longevity and development are attested by archaeological evidence (both terrestrial and maritime/submerged) dating well into late antiquity.

- La Graufesenque is the name of an archaeological site located in southern France at the point of the confluence of the Tarn and Dourbie rivers. The archaeological site is across the river valley from Millau, known in antiquity at Condatomagus. The site was famous for its large-scale production of high quality red terra sigillata pottery. This was produced in enormous quantities and exported across the western Roman world. Production of this type began in the reign of Augustus.
