- The mountain now called Mila Mergi was called Ilimeru in Assyrian texts of the 8th century B.C. The identification is provided by an Assyrian rock relief dating to the reign of Tiglath-pileser III. The mountain is located ca. 25 kilometers northwest of Dohuk in northern Iraq.
