A Roman villa excavated at Boscoreale in 1903 and 1904 under the supervision of Vincenzo De Prisco and located on the property of one Giuseppe De Martino. Wall paintings and artifacts were recovered from the site and it was subsequently reinterred. Records as to its precise location are less than optimal.

A well-appointed "villa" at Olynthus excavated in 1934, the so-called "Villa of Good Fortune" was considered one of the two "type" houses for the ancient site. It was located in the southeastern part of the city in the so-called "villa quarter". Its remains are no longer visible.

Located at Tor Marancia, the site of the villa is the findspot of numerous significant objects of art, including sculptures of Commodus and Faustina. An inscription identified Numisia Procula as the villa's likely owner. The villa was excavated in the nineteenth century but is no longer extant.
