The "Colossus Neronis" or "Colossal Statue of Nero" was a monumental bronze statue of the first-century CE emperor reportedly created by Zenodorus. The statue was originally an element of the sprawling Domus Aurea of Nero but the monument endured long after Nero's reign. The statue's original position likely marked the summit of the Velian Hill. The Flavians refashioned the statue to resemble Sol and Hadrian relocated the statue nearer the Flavian amphitheater as part of the work to create the Temple of Venus and Roma.

The ancient monument referred to as "Trajan's Kiosk" or the "Pharaoh's Bed" is an incomplete hypaethral temple that dates to the second century CE. The monument is currently located on Agilkia Island although it was originally built on the island of Philae. It was relocated in the 1960s as part of the International Campaign to Save the Monuments of Nubia.

A street in regio IV, the Vicus Sandalarius ("street of the sandal-makers"), likely was located north-east of the Templum Pacis. The magistri of the Vicus sandalarius dedicated an altar to Augustus in 2 B.C. Augustus also dedicated a statue to Apollo in the same street. In later times many of the city's bookshops were located there.
