Pleiades

During the time of Sargon II (r. 721-705 BC), the governor of the province of Que carried out campaigns against Mita of Mušku (= King Midas of Phrygia). As a province, Que is mentioned in administrative texts from the reign of Sargon. Its governor is also mentioned in royal correspondence of this king and that of his grandson Esarhaddon (r. 680-669 BC). A tax official from Que is mentioned in a dated administrative text from the time of Ashurbanipal (r. 668-ca. 631 BC). During the reigns of Ashurbanipal and Aššur-etel-ilāni, governors of Que held the office of eponym.
