You can use a feed reader to subscribe to the Atom feed of this blog. You can also subscribe to a separate Atom feed of all recently added and updated gazetteer entries. Each individual place resource in the gazetteer also has its own Atom feed, so you can monitor the records for places you care about (look for "Atom" under the "Alternate representations" heading on any place page).
Pleiades has a frequent announcements and site status account on hcommons.social in the Fediverse that you can visit in your browser, follow with an ActivityPub-capable application at @pleiades_gazetteer@hcommons.social, or subscribe using RSS. A software development iteration in February 2024 with our long-time contractor, Jazkarta, Inc. has introduced some new features for users of the Pleiades website. This post introduces enhancements that assist content contributors in creating and modifying bibliographic references by leveraging the Zotero citation management system and its web application programming interface.
